When the 12th step states "Practice these principles in all our affairs" what principles do they mean? Each step has a principal. Step one as stated in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous the principal is complete defeat in accordance with the twelve and twelve. So the principal would be surrender. Of course each person as looking as they find the principal since each of can only work or individual program there is no right or wrong way. It's interesting how many different principals there are for the steps.
